Vaishnavi School of Music was proud to feature on Nenje Ezhu (நெஞ்சே எழு), AusTamilTV's series celebrating Tamil talent and culture here in Australia. Founded in Melbourne in 2016 by Smt. Kalpana Raja, the school teaches and performs Carnatic music, and uses it as a foundation for understanding and exploring other genres of Indian music. In Episode 2, Kalpana Raja and our students share performances / their musical journey, showing how the ancient tradition of Carnatic music continues to thrive and inspire the next generation far from its roots.
